APHASIA is caused by damage to the language area of the brain, usually as a result of a Stroke or Brain Injury causing people to lose their ability to speak, read, write or understand language.
SPEAKABILITY - Coventry
Is a self-help group for people with APHASIA (Speech and Language problems after Stroke or Head Injury) and their Carers.
Who meet fortnightly in Coventry and come together to share ideas and experiences, make new friends and gain confidence.
The group is owned and run by its members and is for the the benefit of the members.
